YINTROSPECTION

Consider these Yin-inspired candle lit extended yoga classes an invitation to counter balance the intensity of everyday life, a welcoming part of any Sunday self care routine you may already have or some you long to establish.

These 90 minute sessions will be very different to the fiery Yang classes I reguarly teach, but the perfect compliment to any movement modality. Suitable for ALL bodies - old and young, big or small, strong or weak, beginners and advanced, flexible or not - these classes will be spent mostly seated or lying down using a multitude of props of all kinds to help us find an appropriate depth in each posture that we can hold for an extended amount of time.

The goal is not to go deep but to explore our own unique edges. While we regularly give our muscles a lot of attention in yoga and in other sports, this class will focus on our joints, connective tissues and other hidden parts of ourselves. While being held by bolsters, pillows and blocks, we'll be able to hold ourselves and through introspection listen to the stirrings of our own hearts while the mind finds rest. 

The studio has everything you need in terms of mats and props. Wear cosy and comfortable clothing.
