SUMMER SOLSTICE

On the eve of the longest day of the year - the summer solstice - we'll take our practice to the seafront. 

The summer solstice is a fiery, fertile, exuberant, passionate time, when the earth’s loveliness is blooming. Energy wise, we're full. Full of hope, full of potential. On the longest day of the year, we'll draw inspiration from the warmth of the sun, the hight of the light - working together with the collective intention of RADIANCE in our practice. 

At the Solstice the sun appears to stand still before it changes direction. And so, we too will stand still. We will move from our moving practice into journaling - a moment of pause, and take time to reflect. As if we have reached the top of a mountain we'll stop to take in the view. We'll look back at the journey we have taken since the winter & the winter solstice and look ahead towards the path that lead us into the darker half of the year.

Practical information:

This event is open to everyone. 

Bring swimwear & towel for a post-practice dip, 

as well as something to write on & with for the journaling part. 

Please let me know if you need to borrow a yoga mat. 

We'll meet on Newlyn Green, outside of Newlyn Art Gallery. 

In case of rain, the session will take place at the Inner Space in Newlyn.
